Observation

Climbing dome on wood chip ground coverage without six foot fall zone as required by CPSC guidelines. Dispute Description: During the inspection on 12/29/2022, the climbing dome was deemed safe and was not moved, unlike the other playground equipment that required relocation due to either the drop space or needing placement inside the playbox. However, I was informed that the playbox on the infant side needed to be expanded to meet the 6-foot drop space required for two 40-inch slides. The preschool playbox expansion was overlooked and not mentioned. All playground items were removed on 12/29/2022, and photographic evidence was sent to the licensor as proof. Had I been instructed to remove the dome or expand the preschool playbox, it would have been done simultaneously with the toddler playbox expansion. Additionally, we added new wood chips on 10/24/2023. On October 26th, we relocated the dome to a new site and added 12 yards of pea gravel to comply with the request for a 6-foot drop zone.
